Frequently Asked Questions
Booking is simple! Just use our booking link at the top of our website. It will take you to our booking calendar and allow you to choose the session type you are interested in.
When you book a date on our calendar you will be charged a non refundable retainer fee in order to save that date for you. The retainer fee is 25% of your session fee, with the remaining 75% of the fee due the week of your session.
If your chosen session location is within 30 miles of my location, there is no travel fee. If a location is chosen greater than 30 miles from my location, there will be a travel fee added. This excludes my adventure sessions where travel fees are already included in the session price.
Once your session is complete, turnaround time for you to receive photos is 2-4 weeks. This varies due to varying busyness of each month.
Typically, I do not offer sneak peeks as it slows down your full gallery return time.
I do not set a limit on how many photos you receive with your session. I include all photos that I believe are "winners" from your session. Obviously, the longer your session is, the more photos you will receive.
Once I have finished editing all of your photos, they will be uploaded into an online gallery where you can download them for safekeeping. I will email you the link to your gallery along with the download PIN for downloading.
Once your gallery is active and you have been emailed the link, it will be available for 30 days for you to access and download your photos.
The images in your gallery will be edited to improve lighting, contrast, sharpness, and color. These are all done at the discretion of myself as an artist and RAW files will not be given out as it is a misrepresentation of my work.
If you are late for your session, you will have the amount of time late deducted from the time allotted for the session. Example: If you have a 60 minute session scheduled, and you are 20 minutes late, you will then have a 40 minute session.
Excluding emergencies, I ask that if you need to reschedule, that it be done no less than 72 hours before your session. The retainer fee will not be refunded, but applied to the new session date. There is a 6 month reschedule grace period.
I will keep a check on the weather leading up to your session. Typically I will try to wait until 2-3 hours before the session to make the call as the weather forecast in South Arkansas can change multiple times throughout the day. If the weather does interfere and we are not able to proceed with the session, we will reschedule it to a different date.
Yes! I do have a styling guide that will give you some ideas of things to look for/avoid when choosing outfits for you and your family. I can also provide you with links to shopping lists on Amazon that I have put together that can give you outfit ideas and inspiration.
